Our inspirers

The Inspirers of the Plénitude School

These philosophers, psychologists, artists, spiritualists inspired the creation of evolutionary art therapy®, its philosophy and its psychology. The trainers of the Plénitude School continue research and develop concepts through their teaching and their books. The metaphysical foundations of Evolutionary Art Therapy® give it its depth and therapeutic efficacy, responding to contemporary needs for spirituality, esotericism and a psychology in tune with today's consciousness. By synthetically bringing these fields together in support, evolutionary art therapy® is a pioneering approach.

The evolutive art-therapy® was born from the meeting with the works of all these masters in their field. Each and every one in their own way has revealed the existence in the unconscious of a superconscious plane, in which vibrates our potential and the wonderful qualities of the human being. They demonstrated the reality of the Self (according to Eastern terminology), or of the Soul (according to Western terminology). They affirmed the importance of Beauty, Consciousness and Love. They have worked for the common good of Humanity.

Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961)

collective unconscious, artistic expression and individuation

Jung discovers the power and vastness of the collective unconscious by exploring the deepest layers of the unconscious. He recounts his dives into archaic symbols in his book My Life, written when he was 83 years old. A pioneer of art therapy, Jung worked on drawing through the exploration of the mandala and the paintings of the Red Book revealed his gift as a painter. His discovery of the collective unconscious has enriched our research.

Roberto Assagioli (1888-1974)

soul, love-wisdom and qualities

Roberto Assagioli, Italian psychiatrist, met Sigmund Freud and Carl Gustav Jung as they began their research in 1909. He focused on the quest for wisdom and the transpersonal dimensions of being which he integrated into psychology. In his conceptualization of psychology, he united Eastern meditative thought with Western psychology. He has placed the Soul, which he calls the Self, at the heart of his work as a therapist. His books: "Le Développement Transpersonnel", "Principles and Techniques of Psychosynthesis" and "The Liberating Will" are essential references. For Roberto Assagioli, art and universal masterpieces are fundamental in the psychological process.

Abraham Maslow (1888-1974)

creativity, achievement and fulfillment

Abraham Harold Maslow is a forerunner of the psychology of qualities and the sublime. Considered the father of humanistic and transpersonal psychology, he insisted on the importance of human creativity, its need for accomplishment and its achievements. Its philosophy insists on the development of Being and its ontic values: truth, goodness, beauty, creativity, wholeness, justice, simplicity, fluidity ...

Nicholas Roerich (1874-1947)

spiritual art and esotericism

Twice nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, this visionary revealed the unifying power of Art. Archaeologist, painter, writer and spiritualist, he has been constantly at the service of Beauty and the Elevating Art. In 1921, he founded the Master Institute of Unified Arts, an international art center in New York, Corona Mundi. The aim of the organization was to promote mutual understanding between all peoples through art, the international language par excellence. We consider him to be one of the great precursors of spiritual art therapy. One of the Roerich museums is in New York, another in Moscow and a third in Kulu in northern India.

Helena Roerich (1879-1955)

esotericism, spirituality and the new femininity

Founding spiritual teacher of Agni Yoga, the Yoga of Fire. In March 1920, she began her series of books "Agni Yoga" or "Teaching Living Ethics." She conveys the teaching of the Age of Aquarius in a magnificent correspondence.

Alice Bailey (1880-1949)

esotericism, new psychology, symbolism

Most contemporary writers of spirituality and esotericism draw heavily on his work. She sets up the bases of the New Age thought in many works, let us quote: "The light of the Soul", "From the Intellect to the Intuition", "The esoteric psychology" ... She transcribed the teaching of esotericism currently the deepest for our contemporary world. His Symbolist teaching laid the foundations for an innovative approach to psychology and health.

Marie-Odile Brêthes (1960)

contemporary esotericism and spirituality, evolutionary psychology and symbolism,

Alain Brêthes studied esotericism deeply for 45 years. He inspired the School in its development over 20 years of a synthesis thought that he transmitted in his many books. His thought is focused on a search for what contemporary spirituality is, the one that will flourish during the Age of Aquarius. He shares his love and knowledge about Art and music. He is interested in the advancement of contemporary science and establishes links between quantum physics and the Akashic field of the Vedic tradition. He worked with Marie-Odile and Catherine on a spiritual psychology called evolutionary psychology. It teaches the knowledge of the energetic and psychological phenomena of the constitution of the Man.
