The creation of the Plénitude School

In 2007, Marie-Odile Brêthes, Alain Brêthes and Catherine Vallée founded the Ecole Plénitude association with the aim of promoting evolutionary art-therapy®, the term of which is registered at the INPI, and of teach its concepts and practice in a training course then given in Nantes and Bordeaux.


Catherine Vallée and Marie-Odile Brêthes participate in seminars and conferences:

Marie-Odile Brêthes has been invited several times by the Puzzle art-therapy association (regional association of art-therapy Nord-Pas de Calais) to present November 12 and 13, 2004: at the 8 th Study Days of “Art of meeting and meeting of art”, she presented: “Transpersonal Art Therapy”.


November 18, 19 and 20, 2005: at the 9 th Study Days of the art therapy association Puzzle: the theme of her intervention "The healing drawing, testimony of my life journey as an adoptive mother and art therapist ". and she led a round table: “meeting with the collective unconscious in group work” and workshop on “The creative man and the creative woman”.


December 8 and 9, 2007: intervention within the framework of the international meetings SIPE / PUZZLE in Lille on the topic: “violence in art therapy. Forms, Expressions and issues. She led a practice workshop: "Experiences of Peace Vitalization in a Group Psyche".

Catherine Vallée in March 2008 participated in a Round Table on Professions in Psychology, at the Victor Segalen University in Bordeaux.


In 2009, Catherine Vallée and Marie-Odile Brêthes participated in the XIXth International Congress of the SIPE (International Society of Psychopathology of Expression and Art-Therapy) in Lisbon and in the X Congress of the SPAT (art society). therapy of Portugal) which took place jointly from September 3 to 6, 2009. They presented a slide show resulting from their research and teaching in evolutionary art therapy® entitled: "the drawing of the tree in evolutionary art therapy".


As part of the training day reserved for early childhood professionals, Marie-Odile Brêthes presented a conference entitled: "The Art-therapy of Happiness" during an event organized by the Brétécher clinic at S'sentiels 2009 , on Friday 20 November 2009 at the Cité internationale des Congrès in Nantes. During this day, the Plénitude School exhibited five paintings resulting from an evolutionary art-therapy process painted or drawn by five progressive art therapists: Marie Plantard, Peggy Lurton, Catherine Vallée and Sylvie Lamoure and Marie-Odile Brêthes.


In Bordeaux, in September 2010 Catherine Vallée presented a conference on the fields of application of evolutionary art therapy at the Salon Zénitude, in La Teste.

In February 2010, Catherine Vallée and Marie-Odile Brêthes co-hosted a conference and a collective drawing workshop at the Salon Courant d'Elles focused on female entrepreneurship in Rezé, near Nantes.


In December 2010, Catherine Vallée presented a conference-slide show and an exhibition of works by students of the Plénitude School, as well as personal paintings on the theme: "Art therapy in question" proposed by the Center Terre de Women, in Bordeaux.

September 15, 2012 Catherine Vallée, Sylvie Lamoure and Marie-Odile Brêthes represented the Plénitude School at the XXth Congress of the SIPE, International Society of Psychopathology of Expression and Art Therapy, in Toulouse. We presented a slide show to the audience: "Evolutionary art therapy in humanitarian situations in South India: from individual drawing to collective drawing in orphanage."


In 2013, Catherine Vallée presented a conference and an evolutionary art therapy workshop® at the University of Bordeaux on the occasion of Psychomotricity Day.


On Saturday, November 29, 2014, at the Cité des Congrès in Nantes for the French Congress of Psychiatry 2014, Marie-Odile Brêthes presented a conference with slide show on the theme: "From art as catharsis to blossoming through creativity: support by progressive art therapy® in a case of bipolar disorder. "As part of the SIPE- presentations at the Forum des Associations:" Psychotropic drugs and creativity: encounters or distances? "


On Thursday, April 30, 2015, Marie-Odile Brêthes presented a conference at the Center for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy in Lausanne on “Evolutionary Art Therapy® and its applications in support of chronic diseases”.


In 2016, Catherine Vallée took part in the day dedicated to the Professions of Psychology at the University of Bordeaux by presenting evolutive art therapy®.

In March 2017, Catherine Vallée presented a conference-slide show at the Académie de la Couleur during an annual conference organized with, among others, the Culture Department of the City of Bordeaux at the Aquitaine museum: "The colors s' express! ".

In April in Libourne: she presents evolutive art therapy® as part of a day on Prevention organized by EOVIMCD Mutuelle for its members and leads a workshop.

 

In Belgium, from 2013 to 2019 Marie-Odile Brêthes gives, each year, a conference in Belgium followed by a weekend of practice in Ghent and Namur.
